MISE

Getting started with MISE

Follow these steps to go from install to a live frame builder on your storefront. Times are approximate.

1. Install the app

  1. Open the Shopify App Store listing for MISE (link from the home page).
  2. Click Add app and approve the requested permissions.
  3. Complete onboarding in the MISE admin when prompted.

2. Add the app block to your theme

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Click Customize on your live or draft theme.
  3. Open the product template (or section) where you want the builder — often Default product.
  4. Use Add blockApps → choose the MISE block and place it where shoppers should configure frames.
  5. Save the theme.

3. Configure frame options

  1. In the MISE app, open your materials, finishes, and size catalogue.
  2. Set rules so each combination maps to clear pricing.
  3. Assign which options apply to each framed product as needed.

4. Test on mobile

Preview the storefront on a phone. Confirm the block loads, 3D interaction feels smooth, and add-to-cart still works with your checkout apps.

5. Go live

When you are happy with a draft theme, publish it. Monitor support tickets and analytics for the first week and adjust defaults in MISE.
