MISE
Getting started with MISE
Follow these steps to go from install to a live frame builder on your storefront. Times are approximate.
1. Install the app
- Open the Shopify App Store listing for MISE (link from the home page).
- Click Add app and approve the requested permissions.
- Complete onboarding in the MISE admin when prompted.
2. Add the app block to your theme
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Click Customize on your live or draft theme.
- Open the product template (or section) where you want the builder — often Default product.
- Use Add block → Apps → choose the MISE block and place it where shoppers should configure frames.
- Save the theme.
3. Configure frame options
- In the MISE app, open your materials, finishes, and size catalogue.
- Set rules so each combination maps to clear pricing.
- Assign which options apply to each framed product as needed.
4. Test on mobile
Preview the storefront on a phone. Confirm the block loads, 3D interaction feels smooth, and add-to-cart still works with your checkout apps.
5. Go live
When you are happy with a draft theme, publish it. Monitor support tickets and analytics for the first week and adjust defaults in MISE.
