Last updated: April 7, 2026. This policy describes how MISE (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our Shopify application. It is a general template — have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it in production.

Who we are

MISE is a Shopify app that adds a 3D frame builder and product configuration experience to your storefront. Processing of personal data may occur through Shopify, our hosting providers, and the services listed below.

Information we process

  • Shop and staff data (via Shopify): When you install the app, Shopify shares the data your shop and permissions allow (for example store name, contact email, and data needed to bill the subscription).
  • Usage and configuration: Frame options, product associations, and settings you save in the MISE admin may be stored to operate the service.
  • Customer interactions: If shoppers use the frame builder, selections or previews may be processed to show pricing and cart behaviour as you configure in Shopify.
  • Technical data: Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.

Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (security, improvement), and consent where required.

Sharing

We use subprocessors such as hosting (e.g. Vercel or similar), analytics if enabled, and Shopify’s platform for installation and billing. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can uninstall the app from Shopify; Shopify’s processes then govern additional deletion timelines.

The service is not directed at children.
